HANDCRAFTED HOME FRAGRANCE
What wax do you use in your candles and melts?
We hand-pour all our candles and wax melts using 100% plant-based waxes. Our candles use rapeseed and coconut wax & our melts soy wax. They are free from paraffin, palm, and synthetic additives, delivering a clean, long-lasting burn without releasing toxins or soot.
How do I get the best burn from my wooden wick candle?
On the first burn, allow the liquid wax pool to reach the absolute edges of the glass jar (typically 2–3 hours) to prevent tunneling. Always pinch off the burnt top edge of the wooden wick down to about 5mm before relighting to maintain a steady flame.
How long do your reed diffusers last?
Our botanical reed diffusers are formulated with a slow release, eco-solvent base and fibre reeds, continuously scenting a medium-sized room for 3 to 4 months. Turn the reeds every 2 to 3 weeks to refresh the scent throw.
Are your room sprays safe for soft furnishings?
We do not sell our room sprays for use on soft furnishings as some of the oils we use have a hint of colour to them, which could discolour surfaces.
BOTANICAL SKINCARE & BODY CARE
Are your skincare formulations suitable for sensitive skin?
Our skincare products are crafted in small batches using rich plant lipids, botanical oils, and where fragranced we use pure essential oils—omitting parabens, sulphates and artificial fragrances. We do advise testing a small amount on your inner wrist prior to full application. Essential oils by their nature do contain naturally occurring allergens, so check labels prior to use.
Are your products vegan friendly & cruelty free?
Yes, 100%. Every single formulation across our home fragrance, adult skincare, and baby care ranges is vegan friendly and never tested on animals.
INFANT SKINCARE (THE LITTLE SHED)
Are your infant skincare products safe for newborns?
Yes. Our infant skincare range is formulated specifically for delicate skin from birth onwards. We use ultra-gentle, plant-derived ingredients free from artificial fragrances, parabens, sulphates, and harsh synthetic additives. Both Kind & Clear and Barely There are completely fragrance free, so are suitable from birth onwards.
Once a baby has reached 3 months, Lullaby & Luna Dreams are suitable for use. Both contain a small amount of lavender essential oil.
How do I use the infant serums?
Place a small amount onto your fingertips and gently massage into your baby’s skin after bath time. Calendula and chamomile provide natural soothing properties for sensitive skin. In the unlikely event your baby has a reaction, discontinue use.

How eco-friendly is your packaging?
We have always prioritised plastic-free packaging. Our home fragrances and skincare ranges come in recyclable glass jars, aluminum tins and glassine paper. The only exception to this is our infant wash bottles which for safer use we decided to pack in plastic bottles which can of course be recycled. All shipping materials are fully biodegradable or recyclable.

Every single item is formulated, blended, and hand-poured in small batches in our Bristol studio.
